Required Skills:
Education/Experience
• University Degree or Technical Diploma is preferred;
• Minimum qualifications of completion of post secondary education and 5 years of experience;
• Familiarity with ESP equipment strongly preferred;
• Experience with equipment life cycle management and/or equipment failure root cause analysis;
• Other Experience:
•Data base software skills a bonus;
• Strong knowledge of English (both written and spoken);

2. Senior Engineer ESP

Job Duties/Responsibilities
· Assists with ESP design and modeling both for new and replacement systems;
· Monitors and provides recommendations to optimize ESP performance;
· Coordinates ESP inspection and repair activities, teardowns, and testing including review of all pertinent invoices related to these activities;
· Participates in the ESP failure analysis process and compiles ESP failure data. Ensures all failure analysis reports are properly documented and filed;
· Assists with delivering ESP overview and operational training to field and Calgary based personnel;
· Ensures inventory management procedures are followed. Assists in inventory management;
· As required, assists with data management of NEMS (Nexen Equipment Management System) including the QC of all reports and accurately entering data into the NEMS system;
· Reviews data and analyzes trends of ESP performance to aid in the design of ESP systems which are both cost effective and provide optimal run life;
· Assists with data management of ESP RIFTS database system;
· Participates and supports ESP budgeting processes as they pertain to equipment purchases, inspections and repair activities;
· Generates purchase requisitions in SAP for ESP equipment as required;
· Creates and produces reports including weekly KPI reports;
· Liaise with vendors on supply, QA/QC of equipment, and initiates all ESP equipment warranty claims;
· Participates on industry forums and prepares technical presentations to facilitate knowledge sharing as required.
