ENGINEERING JOBS

Triangle Pase Inc is a PSC having its field in North Sumatra and we are Australian listed Energy Company requiring candidates to be placed in Jakarta for the following position:

 
1. Senior Production Geologist
Team Lead for current G&G staff and reporting to the Exploration Manager
Responsibilities:
• Perform production and Develop geology duties on producing fields in one of our core asset areas in North Sumatra subsurface team.
• Development planning, completions, re-completions, work-overs, and in-fill wells.
• Preparation of work schedules and plans, and the ability to lead projects as required.
• Work with Internal Departments to prepare AFE and major project.
• Prepare of the technical presentations as required.
• Provide geological input for wells operations.
• Reservoir modeling for field development / redevelopment.
• Supervise and mentor junior geologists.
• Perform volumetric reserve and risk estimations for field development and new prospects/leads, and support engineering, drilling and production.



Qualification:
• The qualified candidate should have 10-15 years exploration or exploitation work experience, preferably on projects with fractured reservoirs.
• Be a demonstrated leader of a subsurface group that has good relationships with the relevant government bodies.
• Structural geology expertise both extensional and compressional tectonic settings.
• With integrated subsurface mapping experiences, perform volumetric reserve and risk estimations for field development and new prospects/leads, and support engineering, drilling and production.
• The Senior Production Geologist will play a key role in field development planning, completions, re-completions, work-overs, and in-fill wells. The candidate is expected to plan, coordinate, and document logging programs in highly deviated wells.
• Must be task-oriented and self-motivator with good English speaking and written skills.
• Skill with modeling Kingdom and Petrel software.


 
 
2. Snr Drilling Engineer
Drilling Engineering Team Lead working within the current engineering group, reporting to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Drilling Engineer shall have operational experience and exposure from conceptual design and planning for conventional and complex wells (ie severe loss and fractured reservoirs) Highly deviated wells, mutli slot pad design with the associated anti-collision requirements.
• Additional requirements include experience with, HP/HT, MPD/UBD, work over operations, side tracks and completions.
• Preparing AFE, compiling and presenting WP&B to regulatory bodies.
• Monitoring the daily progress of well operations and current daily costs, comparing actual cost
• Cost expenditure proposals and recommending changes or improvements to rig work which could lead to optimization of operations and reduction of drilling expenditure;
• Coordinating and supervising the work of the drilling team, undertaking engineering design and the planning of wells (including development work), Casing Design, BHA design and drilling optimization.
• Designing directional well paths (Side tracks & highly deviated wells, as appropriate);
• Creating drilling operations detailed programs and ensuring daily operations are in accordance with drilling program
• establishing and administering drilling and service contracts;
• Demonstrates total HSE commitment
• Manages personal development & techniques
• Encourages commitment to service quality from employees and sub-contractors
• Mentor other Drilling Engineers
• Provides training and personal
• Technical Support and Training

 
Qualification:
• BSc Engineering Degree (or equivalent), preferably in Petroleum Engineering
• Minimum 12 years experience
• Experience in HP/HT wells, work overs and completions
• Superior in depth knowledge of well construction techniques
• As a key team player the candidate shall be task-oriented and self-motivated with good English speaking and written skills.
