Position: Completion Engineer
Location: Houston, TX
My client, a small independent, is looking for one or more experienced, well rounded Completion Engineer(s) with an entrepreneurial attitude to be a key contributor to the future of their resources. The Completion Engineer will be part of the Well Operations team which will work to fully exploit shelf properties in the Gulf of Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide engineering support for assigned well completion and workover projects.
•Assist management to verify operations are in compliance with all company, industry, and regulatory mandates.
•Ensures that all projects have been thoroughly researched and designed in a safe and cost effective manner.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
•5+ years completion/workover experience
•High degree of initiative and independent judgment.
•Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
•Ability to work with field employees and vendors
•Strong attention to detail; ability to perform duties with a high level of accuracy.
•Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.
•Strong oral and written communication skills.
