Corporate Industrial Relations Officer - HR&GA
Responsibilities:
  • To provide guidance, expertise, advice, and recommendations that are clear, concise, and accurate to VICO Indonesia management on industrial relations, manpower affairs, and legal aspect of employment. These inputs must be adapted and customized so as to conform to VICO Indonesia business strategy. The inputs are particularly related to the compliance to government laws, Regulations, Decrees in the field of Manpower & Labor Relations, labor union activities, and other related issues.
  • Provide management with clear assessment, implications, and recommendations on any potential Industrial Relation issues within the company and act as liaison between outside parties and company, as directed by VICO management.
  • Assist Management on significant labor disputes or major employee case handling to ensure disputes are resolved in accordance to CLA and applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Advice Management by interpreting regulations, decrees, procedures in the area of industrial relations to ensure the implementation of company policies are comply with the existing laws and regulations.
  • Advice Management on the implementation of current VICO's policy, procedure, regulations to ensure the compliance with existing Indonesia laws and government regulations including BPMIGAS.
  • Assist contract custodian to review all company agreements and /or contract documents involving manpower services with third parties comply with existing regulations and VICO Indonesia business strategy and commercial commitments in the context of the PSC agreement.
  • In coordination with management representatives to review CLA and to lead, prepare and negotiate with labor union regarding renewal of Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) to ensure CLA is agreed by both parties and implemented in timely manner.
  • Responsible to conduct CLA socialization to all employees in coordination with labor union to ensure all employees have sufficient understanding and knowledge on the content of CLA.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Law or Management with minimum GPA 2.75, S2 in related discipline is an advantage.
  • Above 8 years experience in industrial relations area and 3 years in Law Firm is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge on prevailing labor laws and regulations.
  • Good relations with manpower or industrial relations institution.
  • Strong leadership with good analytical thinking, assertiveness and problem solving.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill with excellent ability to express ideas in a clear manner both in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Proactive and have "can do" and "strive for excellence" attitude.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skill.
  • Able to identify problems and provide alternative solution.
  • Well organized, self motivated and able to work both independently and in a team.
