PT Sigur Ros Indonesia is a joint venture company between Sigur Ros Sdn. Bhd. and PT Trimulya Gemilang. It is an EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation) company which focus it’s business in offshore pipeline/platform installation and transportation, hook up, saturation/air diving and pre-commissioning work within Oil & Gas Company. We are currently seeking a suitable person to be involved in PHE ONWJ -  EPCI Contract Offshore Pipeline Replacement Program 2012 as:

PROCUREMENT & SUBCONTRACT MANAGER

POSITION	Procurement & Subcontract Manager
DEPARTMENT	Operations
REPORTS TO	Project Manager
PRINCIPLE SCOPE	Responsible for planning, coordination, supervision and execution of procurement & subcontracting for COMPANY & PROJECT.
RESPONSIBILITIES / SKILLS	·Lead and drive the development and implementation of contract management activities, initiatives and processes for effective performance management of contracts and compliance management by strategics interventions, developing supplier relationships and managing project cost in order to sustain value creation identified during the sourcing stage of the contract. ·Lead and drive the management of vendors’ work performance and compliance to contractual terms and conditions through the establishment of a tracking mechanism (Contract Price, Bank Guarantee (BG), Contracts validity and etc), review, assessment and reporting of vendor performance as well as recommending mitigation measures in addressing any relevant issues to ensure no delay or interruption to projects execution in order to sustain business operations. ·Manage contract disputes by developing strategies to resolve issues related to project contracts, analyzing the situations, providing recommendation and guidance, participating and contributing in negotiations with respect to disputes, claims, non compliance etc. in resolving issues over interpretation of contractual terms and contract execution discrepancies in order to safeguard the shareholders’ interest and reputation. ·Manage the maintenance and administration of contract documentation and act as a one-stop resource center for matters pertaining to contract records, contractors' data, bidders' list etc. in order to sustain the reliability and availability of open/classified information at all timesas well as for reference during negotiations and disputes. ·Optimize taxes and duties payable arising from contracts by leveraging and taking advantage of available allowances and waivers on investment tax and stamp duties in minimizing costs related to project contracts as well as to extract maximum value creation. ·Strategic plan to instill continuous awareness amongst Project Team on Contract/Contractor's Risk Assessment process during project implementation phase and proactively institute a system that measure, monitor and mitigate risks in order to eliminate/ minimize risk of non-performance of Contractor(s) that may lead to cost overrun or project delays. ·Review claims and variances by analyzing and proposing methods for contract variations (i.e. change orders, liquidated assessed damages, end-of-time) and claims by contracting parties in order to control change orders and claims to become standardized and efficient with minimal deviation to original plan and budget.

 

QUALIFICATION

·Possess Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or equivalent.

 

EXPERIENCE

·Min of 10 years related working experience in a project environment preferably within the Oil & Gas industry and 5 years at Managerial level.
