Support Engineer

- To support the processing geophysicist to conduct the tape media renewal.
- 1. To prepare all material for copy the data tape media to new media.
- 2. To monitor tape copy process.
- 3. To QC the tape copy result and make sure all the data copy properly.
- 4. To create data base of copied data.
- 5. To back up the copied data.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Geology/Geophysics or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): Linux, I/O System, Computer literacy.
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Staff (non-management & non-supervisor)s specializing in Geology/Geophysics or equivalent. Job role in Geophysicist or Others.
- 1 Full-Time and Contract position available.
- Understand data and format utilized in oil industry
- Understand the I/O system including magnetic tape and devices.
