My client, a major operator located in Houston, TX, is looking for experienced drilling engineers to be based in their Houston office. It is for their onshore operation in the Permian Basin. This is a one year contract role with a possibility for a long term extension.
They are looking for drilling engineers with at least 6-7 years of experience.
Required skills/experience:
Onshore operations
Drilling optimization
Horizontal drilling
Directional Drilling
Management of fluid losses
HPHT (Preferred skill)
Strong communication skills
Ability to mentor junior engineers
Possess a well control certification
Bonus Software Skills:
Open Wells
Well Plan
Compass
