My client is urgently looking for a mechanical design engineer for a 6 month contract role.
A new position has arisen at a Woking office for a Mechanical Engineer due to company expansion. The role will require the candidate to be part of a design team involved in cutting edge mechanical design for critical offshore instrumentation. We are looking for a team player with an eye for detail and a desire to progress within the company. The role will also involve full product lifecycle development and liaising with customers and suppliers.
Job Requirements:
• Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical or related Engineering discipline
• Be able to do simple calculations
• A competent Solidworks user
• Competent in 2D draughting.
• Innovative thought and problem solving.
• Conceptual design.
• A good understanding of design to cost and design to manufacture
