ENGINEERING JOBS
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary asset team, the job holder provides reservoir engineering support to the asset team.
Duties include:
•Provides a wide range of reservoir engineering support and technical advice/guidance to the asset team and, as appropriate, project/operations teams, including:
•Monitoring production and injection performance on existing fields to optimize production and maximize recovery
•Performing reservoir studies and generating production forecasts
•Technical input/support to appraisal and new field development planning
•Planning and execution of technical programmes in conjunction with drilling/well operations
•Performing well test analysis
•Assessing subsurface risk for opportunities
•Economic analysis
•Maintains up to date reserves positions for input to reserves database and company reporting
•Supports the development of technical skills and knowledge within the team by openly sharing technical knowledge and expertise with less experienced engineers and through mentoring.
•Contributes to sub-surface peer reviews, project brainstorming, etc.
•Develops positive relationships and inter-faces effectively, with other teams and external parties e.g. well operations, JV partner representatives, regulatory bodies.
Strong background in Reservoir Engineering, including a Masters Degree are essential for the role.
