Allocating Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Supervision and technical support for Production Allocation execution
- Interface with Reservoir Engineering, operations and Finance to ensure departments are provided with accurate and timely allocation and fiscal data
- Coordinate allocation input from various discipline (Process / Operations / Sub surface)
- Development and update of allocation algorithm for green field and brown field operations.
- Collaboration with Metering Engineer on issues with Fiscal and allocation metering input
- Custodian for production operations database (Avocet capture / allocation, AWM system)
- Monitor performance of critical allocation / operational meter & analyzer (CO2, Moisture)
- Track irregularities on process / allocation / operational and evaluate impact to HYSIS output, theoretical BA data.
- Track CGR updates, new well flow updates, Choke Curves
- Carry out fuel gas royalty sampling, analysis and energy conversion.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- A recognized Bachelors or Masters degree in a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years experience in metering, hydrocarbon and allocation role with a major oil company or related industrial company.
- Computer literate and conversant with all standard MS desktop applications.
- Ability to demonstrate all the necessary written, verbal and computer communication skills necessary to develop, amend and comment on documents meaningfully in the English language, and to converse
