Responsibilities:
- Perform log analyses and interpretation work to ensure quality control of field data acquisition.
- Provide petrophysical input (reservoir properties, permeability, porosity, etc) to support integrated reservoir studies.
- Provide final interpretations and quality control on all log analysis results to support perforation program, well testing, completion and workovers design.
- Ensure data integrity in the petrophysical database (Finder, GeoFrame and Open Works) is maintained, to include all wireline logs and core analysis data, as well as miscellaneous information.
- Liaise with core laboratories and log processing software contractor, and establish their capabilities to facilitate award of contracts.
- Train and develop junior petrophysicists.
Requirements:
- S1 with minimum GPA 2.75 in Petroleum Engineering / Geology. S2 in related discipline is an advantage.
- 5 - 10 years experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Knowledge in geological or petroleum engineering knowledge
- Proactive and have "can do" and "strive for excellence" attitude.
- Good interpersonal and communication skill and able to communicate well in English both written and spoken.
- Excellent presentation skill, with ability to express ideas in a clear manner.
- Able to identify problems and provide alternative solution.
- Well organized, self motivated and able to work both independently and in a team.
