ENGINEERING JOBS

PT. AMEC Berca Indonesia (ABI) is a multi-national company providing engineering & asset support services to the Indonesian oil and gas industry. ABI plans to expand to other market segments and develop into EPC Company. Now, the company is seeking high qualified candidates to strengthen our team.

1.    SUBJECT MASTER EXPERT (SME) –Operations and Maintenance

Ø  Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.

Ø  A minimum of ten (10) years operating experience in the oil and gas industry.

Ø  Technical writing experience and/or equivalent process industry training experience is preferred.

Ø  Excellent English reading and writing skills are essential; additional languages considered an asset.

Ø  Ability to comprehend P&ID’s, vendor information, and process control descriptions.

Ø  A strong proficiency in MS Word is required.

Ø  Must be able to relocate to Jakarta or work on a rotational basis.

Ø  Must be able to travel and have a willingness to work on occasion in various field locations.

 

Role :

Ø  Working with a technical writer to develop content for operating and maintenance procedures; using your process knowledge and site-specific engineering information.

Ø  Reporting project progress to the Project Manager.

Ø  Contacting client and vendor representatives to obtain and clarify technical information; working remotely and during on-site visits.

Ø  Working within a team environment, using strong interpersonal skills while enabling seamless interaction with internal departments and client representatives.

Ø  Generating requests for information for client and vendor representatives.

Ø  Following and maintaining project standards.

Ø  Potentially leading and supporting a team of in-country technical writers.

 

2.      PROJECT OPERATION MANAGER

Ø  Min. bachelor degree of any engineering background

Ø  Minimum 15 years of multi-disciplinarily design engineering experience in the oil & gas industry, encompassing conceptual designs and FEED through to detailed design and brown field engineering modifications

Ø  Experience team leader with a proven track record of performance improvement

Ø  Excellent communication in both written and spoken in Bahasa Indonesia and English

 

3.      PIPING LEAD ENGINEER

Ø Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical major

Ø Minimum 6 years of piping engineering and design experience in the oil & gas industry

Ø Capable being a team leader with a proven track record of performance improvement

Ø Excellent communications in both written and spoken in English and Bahasa Indonesia

 

4.      MECHANICAL ROTATING LEAD

Ø  Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical major

Ø  Minimum 7 years of  mechanical engineering and design experience in the oil & gas industry

Ø  Capable being a team leader with a proven track record of performance improvement

Ø  Excellent communications in both written and spoken in English and Bahasa Indonesia

 

5.      Sr. TECHNICAL SAFETY ENGINEER (STSE)

Ø  Minimum Bachelor Degree in Chemical, Physic or Mechanical major

Ø  Minimum 5 years of Technical Safety engineering and design experience in the oil & gas industry

Ø  Excellent communications in both written and spoken in English and Bahasa Indonesia

 

6.      TECHNICAL SAFETY ENGINEER (TSE)

Ø  Minimum Bachelor Degree in Chemical, Physic or Mechanical major

Ø  Minimum 2 years of Technical Safety engineering and design experience in the oil & gas industry

Ø  Excellent communications in both written and spoken in English and Bahasa Indonesia

 

7.     PROJECT MANAGER (PM)

Ø  Min. Bachelor Degree of any engineering background

Ø  Minimum 15 years of multi-disciplinarily design engineering experience in the oil & gas industry, encompassing conceptual designs and FEED through to detailed design and brown field engineering modifications

8.     PIPING LEAD ENGINEER (PLE)

Ø  Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical major

Ø  Minimum 6 years of piping engineering and design experience in the oil & gas industry

Ø  Capable being a team leader with a proven track record of performance improvement

Ø  Excellent communications in both written and spoken in English and Bahasa Indonesia

 

9.    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (BDM)

Ø  Minimum Bachelor degree or higher in an appropriate field of study from reputable university

Ø  Minimum 7-10  years of Oil & Gas Project Engineering

Ø  Must have professional experience in multi-discipline engineering for the Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemical sector

Ø  Must have experience in EPC contracts within the Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemical sectors (offshore and onshore)

Ø  Must have high networking skills

Ø  Must have good management skills

 

10. MECHANICAL PROJECT LEAD – ROTATING (MPL)

Ø  Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical major Ø  Minimum 7 years of  mechanical engineering and design experience in the oil & gas industry Ø  Capable being a team leader with a proven track record of performance improvement Ø  Excellent communications in both written and spoken in English and Bahasa Indonesia

11. Electrical Designer

Ø Minimum Technical High School or equivalent with extensive experience in CAD and 3D design.

Ø Having detailed knowledge and experience in Electrical design in the oil and gas industry.

Ø Minimum 10 years experience in oil & gas industry in drafting design.

Ø Good communications in both written and spoken in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

 

12. PDMS Admin

Ø Minimum Diploma degree in Mechanical or Metallurgy engineering

Ø Minimum 7 years suitable experience in piping design and/or piping material control within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry.

Ø Experience in 3D plant layout, pipe routes, cable trays and ladders design and others designer jobs.

Ø Able to work in multi disciplines task.

Ø Excellent communication in both spoken and written in Indonesian and English

 

Role:

·Managed working practices, naming conventions for the databases, sites & zones of PDMS draft modul.  

·Understand and comply with the requirements of the Project Specification, the relevant Procedures, Specifications, Standards and other Job Notes applicable to the project

·Creates and up-dates PDMS Cats and Specs of piping components, valves, structural shapes, cable trays and ladders as per  project requirements

·Ensure that all Cat & Spec are completed within the allocated hours and in accordance with the programme

·Ensure that all Cat & Spec are technically correct, checked and approved in accordance with Company procedures

·Ensuring that the contents of the Review Model files reflect the PDMS Design.

·Extract material take off from PDMS model for input to related disciplines.

·Assist Piping Discipline Head to achieve the PDMS modelling and drafting are complete within the allocated hours

·Manage, control and apply changes to cat & Spec across the design works.

·Ensure that cat & Spec database are satisfied the project QA and technical requirements that represent all area of design

·Ensure to keep good order the filing systems of material specification and vendor’s data and/or drawings used to produce Cat & Spec.

·Ensure compliance with Company Standards and Procedures and SHEQ Regulation

·To read, understand and implement the Company Policy and the arrangements described in Company Management System documents

·Recommend improvements to company operating procedures

 

13.    GA ADMIN (GA)

Ø  Minimum Diploma degree in administration or any other field

Ø At least 1-3 years experience in the field of General Affair

Ø  Good communications in both written & spoken in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
