ENGINEERING JOBS
A growing privately-held natural gas and oil company engaged in
the acquisition, development, exploitation and exploration of natural
gas and oil properties onshore in the United States is seeking an Asset
Engineer to join their Houston office.
Qualifications:
* 2-6 years of experience as a production or asset engineer within the upstream O&G sector.
*experience working onshore gas and oil operations (unconventional experience is a plus)
*A strong background in gas well deliquification
*Authorization to work within the United States without requiring sponsorship
*Degreed in Petroleum Engineering or a related field
Duties will include:
*Monitor production rates and plan/implement rework and recompletion activities in order to improve production.
* Work within multi-discipline team environment to assess costs and estimate the production capabilities and economic value of oil and gas wells in order to evaluate and help place potential drilling sites.
*Work with marketing personnel to identify best markets for oil and gas production.
* Participate in completion design and monitor flowback operations on new completion.
*Work within production team to help control and monitor lease operating expenses.
