A dynamic and well funded Oil and Gas Company under BPMIGAS Production Sharing Contract agreement with 4 (four) active blocks is seeking talented Operation Support with HSE Background to join its well site based operations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Promotes HSE Programs related to Implementation of HSE Management System
2.Review progress against annual HSE plan, attend regular meetings with contractors and sub-contractors to reinforce the project's HSE objectives and standards, and monitoring performance against plan.
3. Advice on HSE legislation and procedures on-site.
4. Provide induction and ongoing safety awareness training within the site teams.
5. Monitor the effectiveness of all safety elements of the HSE program, including training, toolbox talks, risk assessments and inspections.
6. Maintains administrative aspect to monitor HSE activities related to HSE programs.
7. Assists on daily operational issues from HSE aspect.
8. Supervises training operational line on HSE related issues.
9. Coordinates with operational staff to monitor and supervise safety activities in work area. Conducts safety inspection and reviews prior procedures (JSA, SOP, RA) to provide work permits, such as hot work, hot tap, and vessel entries.
10. Monitors the implementations of procedures compliance for all jobs as well as safety and environment work practice.
11. Conducts planned HSE inspection on rigs, tools, PPE, living quarter and accommodation barge by identifying hazard and/or deviation of the HSE/government standard/regulation and recommends corrective/remedial action.
12. Updates inspection findings and corrective action.
13. Involves on each safety meetings and prepares appropriate topics to share and discuss the potential hazard at the earlier stage.
14. Assist in the preparation and performance of the site/spread environmental audits and/or environmental inspection.
15. Adhere to principle of HSE – Management System/ISO 14001 and HSE Management System implementation.
16. Reviews accident, injury, and illness reports to detect problem areas related to employee safety.
17. Liase with local government, Migas, BP Migas, Environmental Department and other governmental department regarding Health, Safety and Environment
Qualifications
• Minimum bachelor degree from Occupational Safety and Healthy Environmental Degree.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of working experiences in oil and gas industry with the last 5 years spent in senior managerial position overseeing offshore / onshore drilling operations.
• English Language Proficiency: Good command of English communication skills in all aspect of verbal, writing as well as presentation skills.
• Computer Literacy: Familiar with MS Office applications and proficient of using e-mails as daily communication means.
• Other Qualifications: Understand BPMIGAS Pedoman Umum Pelaksanaan Operasi Pemboran / General Guideline for Drilling Operation, HSE Management System and other related regulations and has strong strategic thinking orientation
