Job Description

A rare and rewarding opportunity exists for Asset Management/Reliability Consultants to work for Ausenco Rylson in Perth and the Sunshine Coast in Queensland (starting January 2013).. These roles are centred across the development and implementation of Maintenance Strategies, Budgets and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) principles and application for mining projects across the globe. They also incorporate the facilitation of Defect Elimination Programs including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing work management systems including planning, scheduling and KPI design and implementation.
 
Not all our global projects are the same. Conditions range from freezing to boiling, dry to wet, highly populated to desolate, and everywhere in between.   We’ll give you all the ingredients for success – good systems and practices, realistic expectations and most importantly, the opportunity to drive successful projects and lead a team of high performers.  

Desired Skills & Experience

To be successful in these roles, you will have the following: 
  • Degree qualified in a related engineering discipline with approximately 5-10 years relevant heavy industrial experience (Six Sigma qualifications highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated ability in the development and implementation of Maintenance Strategies, Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) principles and application and Maintenance Budgets (Weibull reliability modelling highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated skills in safety management, risk awareness and hazard identification in remote locations.
  • High level interpersonal skills together with effective communication and computer skills. Spanish is highly regarded.
Extensive international travel is required for these roles and they will suit autonomous and confident individuals with a strong work ethic and a continuous learning focus.   These are challenging positions and an attractive salary package commensurate with experience will be offered to the successful candidates.
