REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction/commissioning experience in shipbuilding or marine industry.
Knowledge of engine room equipment and equipment testing
Able to interface with clients
Must be able to work at onshore site and voyage
Those with Chief Engineer background will be an added advantage.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Supervise ongoing construction and
subsequent commissioning activities of an Offshore Construction Support
Vessel (CSV) to ensure timely delivery of the vessel to meet Project
schedule requirement, and quality and performance of the
vessel/equipment to serve mooring installation.
Station in a China construction yard where the vessel is being constructed to continuously monitor the progress
Report the vessel construction progress to the Project Management.
Coordinate with subcontractor site representatives for Client requirements, etc
