Responsibilities:
-Recommend, develop and pursue long term growth objectives and plans for assigned locations. Set and achieve budgets and goals.
-Develop territory strategy to develop relationships with key end users, contractors and agents. Prioritize opportunities to maximize profitability and minimize expenses.
-Work with target customers to recommend products, set specifications, and close orders for the largest possible package of products at the most profitable prices possible.
-Compile project specifications and project proposals. Complete take-offs as necessary and coordinate project activity and quotations with company offices worldwide.
-Recommend and initiate changes or deletions in current products and pricing necessary to maintain and increase sales and margins in accordance with company goals and policy. Work with local companies to recommend partnerships to company management, as appropriate.
-Determine competitive standing of current products in relation to price, features and performance including analysis of competitor’s actions, product developments, product policies and activities.
-Evaluate product success in the marketplace through internal reports and direct contacts with customers, contractors, agents and distributors. Recommend adjustments to marketing and sales efforts when and where necessary.
-Plan and recommend product pricing and distribution policy consistent with sound price and discount practices to obtain optimum volume and market position.
-Resolve product inconsistencies arising from, but not limited to, manufacturing and engineering inquiries, change in vendor supplies, and customer complaints.
Requirements:
-Degree holder in Engineering from reputable university
-Minimum 5 years working experienced in oil & gas industries. other market knowledge such as mining, fire & gas would be added advantages.
-Good communication skill (verbal and writing) Fluent in english
-Must have initiative, team worker and be able to work with minimum supervision.
-Resourcefulness and ability to perform under pressure.
