Malaysia LNG is the operator of one of the world’s largest LNG production facilities at a single location. It is known as the PETRONAS LNG Complex (PLC) at TanjungKidurong, Bintulu, Sarawak. Comprising of 3 LNG plants with a total of 8 trains, the 276 hectares Complex currently has a total combined capacity of about 23 million tonnes of LNG per annum. The production capacity has been increased to 24.2 million tonnes per annum in 2010. This augurs well with the increasing demand from our valued customers in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan who have always prefer the LNG produced by PETRONAS. The increasingly capacity and reliability of our LNG plants has enable us to expand our market to China in 2009. We have also embarked on a global championship journey and we firmly believed that we will become a Leading Global LNG Company in due course.

Responsibilities:


1. Monitor and review consultant studies and designs and lead the consultant for studies of the mechanical engineering activities.
2. Monitor and review mechanical engineering activities including conceptual, detail design to ensure that the activities are being implement in physical works.
3. Liaise and collaborate with MLNG departments for implementation of activities especially in mechanical engineering works to ensure that it is Compliance with PETRONAS.
4. Review permit to works for the contractors and co-ordinate all planning and scheduling work both internal and external to ensure that there's coordination of discipline work applied in the department and compliance to PETRONAS.
5. Coordinate all planning and scheduling work both internal and external to ensure smooth operation.
6. Co-ordinate with TES/4 on mechanical engineering activities to ensure that the required document are correctional.
7. Prepare and administer change procedure and other relevant mechanical engineering requirements to ensure the compliance to PETRONAS and in accordance with standard for project improvement.
8. Ensure that the project is completed within agreed schedule and the work carried out is within the shutdown window provide.
9. Participate and involve in all HSE programs initiate by the Project and MLNG to achieve zero Lost Time Incident (LTI) and to meet Company's business objectives.

 
 
Requirements:


1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any Engineering discipline
2. Minimum of 4 to 6 years experience in oil and gas industry
3. Able to leverage industry best practices and share experiences
4. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
5. Patience and passion for knowledge transfer
6. Good at planning and organizing
7. Experienced in Projects and Constructions
