| Malaysia LNG is the operator of one of the world’s largest LNG production facilities at a single location. It is known as the PETRONAS LNG Complex (PLC) at TanjungKidurong, Bintulu, Sarawak. Comprising of 3 LNG plants with a total of 8 trains, the 276 hectares Complex currently has a total combined capacity of about 23 million tonnes of LNG per annum. The production capacity has been increased to 24.2 million tonnes per annum in 2010. This augurs well with the increasing demand from our valued customers in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan who have always prefer the LNG produced by PETRONAS. The increasingly capacity and reliability of our LNG plants has enable us to expand our market to China in 2009. Responsibilities: | ||
1. Responsible in project costing estimates based on economic viability along with the Project Costing Engineer, Planner and Project Manager and will feed the team of Contracting, service and material estimates plus all purchasing activities expected of the projects in FEL 1 to FEL 3. 2. Prepare the contracting strategies and tender plans for various projects under PDD and responsible to liaise with SCM on various preparation of the papers for Tender Committees (TCs), Technical Review Committees (TRCs) and Board Papers. The stages that are required are:- 1) For Front End Engineering Design (FEED) contracting,and 2) Detail design and EPCC contracting. 3. Organize and lead the ITB preparation, prepare the evaluation requirements for the project before tendering. Responsible for determining long lead items based on technical inputs from project teams and material and service logistic impact on project during Front End Loading (FEL 3) as from the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) completed. 4. Ensure that all construction stage of the project material and service requirement are as per contract and to advice project team of the contract and all related documents if any Variation Order (VO) required by the project. Project Team will refer to incumbent for various rates that are to be use that had been specified in the project contracts and various clauses in the contract. 5. Responsible to ensure that all relevant contract requirements specified in the contract required of the Contractors or sub contractor specified in contract or offered during bidding of the contract are abide by and check on the contract OEM requirement in the contract are carried by the contractors or subcontractor or equipment suppliers on the installed equipment are carried out. 6. Responsible to ensure contract requirement of closing out of the project are met. The Initial Acceptance (IA) and the Final Acceptance (FA) of the project are done according to the provision of the contract. 7. Prepare all close out data compilation and close out reporting as per contract with relates to material such as SPIR, commissioning spares, 2 years operating spares and manuals required for operations as per contract are met. 8. All Asset Structure requirement, parts coding and relevant documents to be handed over to SCM are available after the project completions are carried out. All Documentations, OEM Manuals, drawings required by contract are checked by incumbent with the project team so to close out the project. | ||
Requirements: | ||
1. Degree in any Discipline 2. 4 to 6 years experience in Contracting, Purchasing or Buyer. Have some experience as project contract analyse, project equipment purchaser or made ITBs. 3. Able to leverage on industry best practices and share experiences 4. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills 5. Patience and passion for knowledge transfer 6. Good at planning and organizing | ||
