Premier seeks a new Senior Drilling Engineer for its North Sea operations.
You will be responsible for engineering and operations supervision of drilling and completions activity, ensuring compliance with Premier's Drilling Management and HSE Management systems, and local regulations
You will be responsible for engineering and operations supervision of drilling and completions activity, ensuring compliance with Premier's Drilling Management and HSE Management systems, and local regulations
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure all activities are planned and executed in an HSE compliant manner
• Coordinate and facilitate strong communication channels between all subcontractors
• Liaise with internal customers and stakeholders, ensuring well objectives are understood and met.
• Check all required permits and consents are in place, supply daily progress reports
• Prepare well designs and programmes in accordance with Premier DMS, local industry and Government regulations.
• Prepare cost estimates for well designs as requested, using the standards as described in the DMS. Ensure well design addresses budget constraints.
• Prepare “end of well” reports in a timely manner, ensure well data is collated and stored as per standard requirement.
