Staff Reservoir Engineer is urgently needed to fill a position
in Houston, TX with a large International oil and gas operator.
Progressive Global Energy & Natural Resources specializes in delivering first-rate professionals to the Oil & Gas industry. I work specifically with Petrophysicist and have been hired to execute an executive search to fill this role as soon as possible.
o Candidate should have a minimum of ten (10) years experience
o Previous International Deepwater Reservoir Engineer experience preferred
o Experience with Eclipse and Aries desired
o Knowledge of deepwater flow assurance issues
Foreign language a plus
o Manage and optimize producing assets from a Reservoir Engineering perspective.
Surveillance, analysis and recommendations of all subsurface engineering required for proper reservoir management of international assets (Operated and OBO)
o Supporting reservoir and production due diligence on potential farm-ins and acquisitions Preparing written reports of reservoir performance, explaining and presenting results Updating year end SEC reserve survey
o Directing and coordinating reservoir engineering modeling of current fields and new discoveries.
o Capable of validating static geologic model and predict reservoir performance under primary and secondary recovery schemes; as well as creating conceptual development plans for new fields.
o Working within a multi-disciplinary team to develop and exploit discoveries.
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.
