1. Position Objective and General Responsibilities
In a joint effort with the Engineering Contractor, Equipment Vendor,
Company Project team to review, and partake in engineering, procurement,
installation, testing, commissioning of mechanical and rotating
equipment systems on Owner Field facilities in safe, efficient and
operation friendly manner. To foster and maintain the team approach, as a
senior member of the engineering and commissioning teams.
2. Main Tasks and Specific Responsibilities
• Perform engineering review of Process schemes, Equipment
Specifications developed by engineering contractor. Validate those
deliverables issued by Engineering Contractor.
• Participate in development of Overall Facilities Development Schemes as required.
• Perform process simulations relevant to the above.
• Coordinate Conceptual/ FEED/ Detailed Process Engineering works as required.
• Evaluate/ recommend for optimizing of current Production Operations as required.
• Interface coordination with designated Company’s personnel relevant to all of the above tasks and responsibilities.
• To establish and maintain a good working relationship with the various Contractors and their respective personnel.
• To provide positive input toward recognition of problems in advance,
and development of practical solutions, and/or working methods.
• Report daily, or otherwise as required to the Senior Engineering Manager.
• Provide Input to Weekly, Monthly, and other Reports related to the above tasks and responsibilities.
• To carry out ad hoc tasks directed by the Senior Project Manager when required.
3. Internal Interfaces
Communicate on a daily basis and maintain excellent working
relationships with all Project Team’s members and related personnel in
other Departments.
4. External Interfaces
Interfaces with Engineering Contractor/ Procurement Vendors, Construction Contractors, Certifying authority and Others.
5. Qualifications and experience
Mandatory
• BSc Degree in Engineering or higher;
• Minimum 10 years experience in offshore oil & gas production process engineering;
• Proven expertise in offshore petroleum development process engineering
including oil/gas/water separation systems, gas compression, water
injection, power generation, utilities/ support systems;
• Extensive experience in field development concept definition,
feasibility studies, and conceptual/ FEED/ detailed engineering;
• Extensive working knowledge of industry-standard process engineering software.
• Self motivating and capable of working as part of a team, sometimes in a challenging environment.
• Working experience in Vietnam or other SEA countries.

• To have operated as a project engineer in other projects
